The Board of Regents has mandated United Healthcare as the Health Insurance provider for Kennesaw State University. This insurance is not meant to be in addition to any current insurance, but rather to be in lieu of any current insurance.
If you already have insurance and want to remain with your provider, you may request a waiver—please go to the United Healthcare website and fill out the waiver request information. They should then send you an email indicating whether the waiver is granted or not, and, if so, they should contact KSU and begin adjusting the insurance fees charged to your KSU account.
You will not be able to waive the KSU health insurance until the charge has posted to your account.
If you do not already have insurance, please also go to the United Healthcare website and set up an account.
