KSU will request that fully admitted teacher education candidates be issued a Pre-service Certificate by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. A Pre-service Certificate is required to participate in field experiences associated with courses required in teacher education programs. As part of this process a criminal background check will be completed by the PSC as part of the admission process of the Bagwell College of Education.
