Health Insurance for Clinical
The Board of Regents has mandated United Healthcare as the Health Insurance provider for Kennesaw State University. This insurance is not meant to be in addition to any current insurance, but rather to be in lieu of any current insurance which does not meet the current minimum requirements for coverage. Information about the requirements set forth by the BOR can be found on the USG Website.
If you already have insurance and want to remain with your provider, you may request a waiver once the insurance fee has been charged to your KSU account. Please go to the United Healthcare website and fill out the waiver request information. They will send you an email indicating whether the waiver is granted or not, they should contact KSU and begin adjusting the insurance fees charged to your KSU account.
