Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education

The Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education offers a new undergraduate degree in Public Health Education and a P-12 teacher preparation program in Health and Physical Education. The Department also offers minors in both Coaching and Public Health Education which are open to any degree seeking undergraduate KSU student. The department serves the campus community through an extensive Physical Activities program and the WELL 1000: Foundations for Healthy Living course.

    Coming Fall 2017—a Special Topics course focusing on interprofessional collaboration and care within the fields of Nursing, Public Health Education, and Human Services. Set yourself apart in jobs that require teamwork, work effectively within interprofessional teams, and become a role model for enhanced communication skills.
