The Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth offers a fully inclusive post-secondary college education and experience to students with different intellectual or developmental abilities who do not meet higher-education requirements for admission as a degree-seeking student. The program involves enrollment as non-degree seeking audit students in typical university courses and includes social integration, career exploration and training resulting in a Certificate of Social Growth and Development.

  • summer program for inclusive post secondary education

    Summer Leadership Intensive Program

    We are now accepting applications for our summer leadership intensive.  This program is for interested high school students and graduates who want to explore college life through the perspective of an Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) student.  This program is best suited for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who can function independently without assistance for an extended period.  It includes a college-level writing workshop, group activities, social skills education, dorm tour, scavenger hunt, and career exploration.  Please contact academyadmissions@kennesaw.edu to complete a screening questionnaire.

    $250.00 for the week

    2022 Program dates:
    June 6 – 10: SESSION FULL
    July 11 – 15: 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
