Academy scholarships are awarded to currently accepted and enrolled Academy students only. Scholarship awards are only considered for applicants who have completed the FAFSA through the Office of the U.S. Department of Education. Applicants are encouraged to complete the FAFSA. Applicants must have a completed FAFSA and scholarship application on file by the Academy Scholarship deadline, which is communicated to students by the Administrative Unit. The Academy follows the university and donor guidelines when awarding scholarships. Scholarship applicants are reviewed by the Academy Scholarship Committee. Scholarships are directly awarded to student accounts. Students who drop courses or are placed on program warning will become ineligible to receive scholarship awards.
Donor support plays a large role in the continuation of our students’ educational goals. The Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth leadership team makes every effort to ensure donations receives goes back to our student overall development and growth.

Community Partners and Grants
The Home Depot
Home Depot’s generous donation makes it possible for even more students to attend the academy and benefit from all we offer. The Home Depot is very kind, and we greatly appreciate their generous contribution to our program.
Amerigroup, Academy Community Partner, offers our students opportunities to learn career skills and facilitate engagement in a mentoring day with other community partners. In 2019-2020, Amerigroup, one of our community partners, awarded an ALCD Graduate, Laura Funk a $2,500 scholarship to further her education.
Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities
The Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities grant offers our program funding support for Peer Mentors as well as scholarship opportunities for our students.
